Philippine Fiesta 2025
By: Divine Basa
To begin with, I would like to respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Owner of the land of which we celebrate – paying tribute to their Elders, past, present, and emerging. We extend our deepest respect to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who may be joining us in this celebration of culture and community.
For over a four decades, the Philippine Fiesta of Victoria Incorporated (PFVI) has proudly stood as a beacon of Filipino culture, unity, and resilience. This year, as we mark our 43rd anniversary on 29 and 30 November 2025, we gather once again for our cherished two-day celebration-held annually on the last Saturday and Sunday of November. Through out the years, our two-day Fiesta celebration has taken place in various parks and large venues, welcoming thousands of attendees and inviting multicultural communities to experience and share the vibrant traditions of Filipino culture. Since the inauguration of the Philippine Community Centre (PCC) in Laverton on 16th March 2024, PFVI activities–including this year’s two-day Fiesta 2025 are now proudly held at our very own cultural home, a place that reflects our heritage and aspirations. This marks the second time our Fiesta will be hosted at the PCC, a symbol of pride and unity for our community.
PFVI’s 2025 theme, “Kapayapaan at Pagkakaisa tungo sa Kaunlaran”, reminds us at peace and unity are the cornerstone of progress. It is through these values that PFVI continues to thrive, passing on our rich cultural heritage to the next generation with pride and purpose.
This year’s festivities promise unforgettable experience for families, friends, and guests of all backgrounds. From vibrant music and traditional dances to spirited Pinoy sports, parlour games for kids and adults, a mouth watering array of Filipino food stalls – there’s something for everyone. With hundreds of dishes to choose from, our culinary showcase alone is a journey through the Philippine Islands.
PFVI is honoured to welcome not only general members and thousands of loyal attendees, but also esteemed dignitaries and multicultural organisations who continue to show their support year after year. It’s a rare opportunity to meet these leaders in person, beyond the headlines, and celebrate the diversity that makes our community strong.
This monumental event would not be possible without the tireless efforts of the PFVI committee. Their dedication, vision, and teamwork deserve the highest praise. To our volunteers, members, families, sponsors, donors, friends, entertainers, and everyone – thank you for your unwavering support. You are the hear beat of this celebration. KUDOS to you all!
Let us continue to be proud steward of our heritage, role models for the next generation, and champion of unity.
Mabuhay ang Philippine Fiesta of Victoria Incorporated!
