The Philippine Community Centre

A defining moment in the Philippine Fiesta of Victoria Incorporated (PFVI) journey unfolded on 16 March 2024 with the inauguration of the Philippine Community Centre (PCC), proudly managed and owned by PFVI located at 1 Thomas Street, Laverton, Victoria. The event was graced by dignitaries, and community leaders, welcomed international guest performers, devoted members and volunteers, cherished friends & family, and talented local performers. Together, their presence reflected the PCC’s welcoming heart and enduring purpose.

Since its opening, the PCC has blossomed into a vibrant heart for both celebration and reflection. It has hosted concerts, birthdays, weddings, and wide array of community and private events. It also serves a special space for church services across various religious denominations, embracing spiritual diversity with grace and openness.

More than a venue, the PCC stands as a symbol of unity. It welcomes not only the Philippine-Australian community, but the broader multicultural population of Victoria. Through shared experiences, traditions, and values, the PCC has become a place where cultures converge, friendship flourish, and mutual respect is nurtured.

The facility itself is thoughtfully designed to meet diverse needs, featuring:

A multipurpose function hall
Conference room
Large foyer and reception area
Administrative and private offices
Meeting rooms
Commercial kitchen
First aid and storage rooms
Ample car parking
Restrooms

Available for hire, the PCC continues to support community initiatives, cultural programs, and personal milestones.

PFVI takes immense pride in fulfilling its long-held dream of establishing this community centre. The PCC is a living tribute to the tireless efforts of past and present PFVI officers and committee members, and all who contributed to the vision. It reminds us that through dedication, collaboration, and heart, we can build spaces that uplift, connect, and endure.
